I haven’t really touched chicken sandwiches yet, so I thought I’d throw in a delicious chicken sandwich. It’s grilled with pineapple. It’s a great alternative to hamburgers or turkey sandwiches. You can grill, broil or even use your countertop grill for this recipe. Any way you make it, it’s a quick chicken dinner.
serves 2
Grill the chicken (or broil) brushing it frequently with the honey mustart.
Once it’s cooked top with pineapple and pepper rings and serve on a sandwhich roll.
You can add a steamed veggie to the side, for a quick lunch. A noodle side dish would work well with steamed broccoli for a well rounded dinner.
My husand has this recipe for “hawaiin burgers” he loves them, I think they are way too sweet, but I think he was expecting something a little more like that. This is a nice sandwich, but much more bland than my hubbies Hawaiin burgers. The honey mustard provides good flavor, but it is not very saucy. All in all a good diversion from our regular sandwiches but didn’t make it to our “weekly” list.
