Here comes another easy, yet delicious chicken dinner. Campbell’s just makes dinner too easy sometimes. This dish is no exception. Simple, easy and done in less than 20 minutes.
3 cups uncooked bow tie pasta
2 tbsp butter or margarine
1 lb boneless chicken breast cubed
1 can cream of chicken soup (you can use fat free if you want)
1/2 cup pesto sauce
1/2 cup milk
Here’s what you do:
Cook pasta according to the package and drain.
While you’re pasta is cooking, heat butter in a skillet. Add the chicken and cook until brown ~ make sure you stir it so it doesn’t stick.
Add the soup, pesto sauce and milk to the chicken in the skillet. Bring it all to a boil, then lower your heat to low. Cook for 5 more minutes or until the chicken is cooked all the way through. Stir in drained pasta and heat it through.
You’re good to go!
Make it a meal:
This would be great with some nicely cooked carrots, or even green beans. You’ve already got your starch incorporated (with the pasta), so you really only need to add a veggie to make this a healthy well balanced meal.
